MadeInEthiopia.com is a business unit of Emergent Global Services, LLC - a trade, investment facilitation and logistics support agency based in the Washington DC area.  Emergent Global also maintains offices in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and its trade and investment related activities are primarily focused on building improved business linkages between Ethiopia and the global marketplace with particular focus on the United States.  This site has been established as an online retail channel to help vendors gain immediate access to the US consumer market (and beyond) and also as a showcase for prospective wholesale buyers looking to source products from Ethiopia.

MadeInEthiopia.com generally offers products for sale that it has confirmed, onsite inventory for.  Special order or back order items are an exception to this but other than that, this means we can ship an order out to customers from our facilities in Herndon, Virginia within one or two days of placement.  The products we show on our site are not only double checked for quality by the vendors we work with but also checked again by Emergent's staff in Addis Ababa and once more at our facilities in the US as part of the order fulfilment process.
